nah.....my speed has definitely increased to 768....or how can it give me such high speeds???...if ur using WC i suggest u disconnect ur modem and then reconnect it....i did so when i saw the first post...and bam!!!..speed increased....


but why is it showing it to be less???


also....my browsing speed still feels like 256k.....

speed test site .. is not that accurate i guess. Then there are factors like which proxy are you using to download and upload or test the bandwidth .. all that ! but if you actual speed is good enough then why bother on a test

Speed upgraded to 1MB. It's pretty damn variable at this point. It was giving me 768kbps a few minutes ago but I checked back it's 1MB. Upload speed is a little slow but it's ok. I don't mind the extra speed at all.

They upgraded packages on the basis of however much you were paying. As a result, your speed got kicked up accordingly so. Let's see if the service improves. I'm liking it so far.

Whats the point in providing a 256k package @Rs 1,000 it should replace the 128k one at Rs 600 and 784k scrapped and 1MBPS be offered @Rs 1,800.

yeah there is a big game between 1 mb and 512 k :S and 1 mb is bit expansive

I was paying Rs. 2000 for 256kbps for a corporate account. I just wanted tech support to be online all the time when I was working. Tis fun yelling at idiot tech support people from WC. :P

I will most likely get my connection downgraded to a 768kbps, I can't afford Rs. 2500 per month.

I think most people would go for the 512Kbps Rs.1200 package now, very affordable and consistent speed.

My Rs.600 64Kbps package has been upgraded to 128Kbps.
