well... i dont think u'll need to do anything for 2000 ... this was for xp.. xp has alot of resource eating issues... i dont think 2000 will need to be tweaked...

ok i have a issue here


i installed winXp on ma partition with ntfs but what happened was due 2 some reasonz ma win got currpt and amazing well i could recovered ma data from taht partition

cuz win98 or dos workz in fat or fat32 and does not support the ntfs so how on earth i would recover

yes ntfs is far more better and faster then the fat32 but i belive have its flawz

tahnks qayamt bhai

i tried all the things u said

reinstalled my xp n all my partiotin r ntfs

and i have seen some thing in ntfs the file transfer rate b/w partition is quite faster then fat32 is it or its just me who's thinkin like this .....coz fat32 main 1 gb data use to take 5-6 min in in ntfs it only took 3-4 min

The Network Settings Dialog is next. Two things to do here. Go to CUSTOM SETTINGS :
a)Take the tick OFF from QOS Packet Scheduler. It eats up bandwidth

b)File and Printer sharing – leave it on if you have a network and share files otherwise take the tick off.




when i was installing the windows it just insatll it n i couldnt click on CUSTOM SETTINGS i mean it automatically insatll all things so tell me hwo can i do it after i have insatll xp

you can jusr right click on your lan connection and then go to PROPERTIES.

in there u will see QOS and File and PRinter Sharing.. tell me if it worked for u

i think u'll have to do a full formatto convert back to FAT32 from NTFS.. maybe u can use partition magic.. i'm not sure.. some computer guru will let u know.

ala yar ala guide (Y)

mayri partitions FAT32 hain or men nay ntfs par nahi convert kiya. uss kay baad walay men nay saray steps kiyay hain or kafi farak par gaya hai comp speed ko or downloading speed ko

yar where can i get the DUMETER???when i search on download.com,,it doesnt cme...kidhar sey loon or tell me any other software to check the speed..help..and btw qayamat...keep up the gud work..bohat ala guide yar ..it works gud
