Default Car problem need help

I bought my civic vti oriel manual 2005 last year car meter showed 15000km done. For a year, that car used to run on petrol with no problems of what so ever.

At 34000km, I installed CNG and I start noticing that car consuming engine oil. Now the problem is that I think car is consuming engine oil and on petrol, if I give too much accelerator I can smell the petrol coming from the cylinder.

On start of this month at 37000 km I changed engine oil from Honda fort (HONDA OIL) and after 1000 km done meaning at 38000km my gauge stick shows that engine oil is now half.

At HONDA Fort couple of guys saying that i need engine overhaul but few of them saying that engine is fine.......

Any idea what to do? Honda fort people are telling me that they will overhaul the engine. I believe that engine is just fine only rings are giving me problems but then again at 38000KM, it is absurd. I know I bought it 2nd hand but how much a person can run a car in a year…. 15000KM / 25000KM there shouldn’t be any problem with engine… so need help to sort out this problem.

Someone said to me that there is STP bottle which basically cleans the piston and other things. But there is a chance that it will solve the problem or it will screw things up…….

so any idea what to do? am i facing problem because of CNG? or not?

Well if its 15000km u should also have asked how it was driven? was it with high-rpms? were oil changes made on time?

These factors mite be the reason of early wear-and-tear of the engine. First check if the oil is leaking or not. Dont use STP, it only helps when u have Diesel Engine. In morning when ya start ur car check if there is some

kar kar like sound which disappears after few seconds like 10 or 20. It should be coming from block of ur engine. If its coming that means ur man-begins and pistons are out of alignment and need repair.

Also the main point is check ur air filter? Are there oil deposits on it? Take out the small pipe which is connected to air filter and comes from carborator or injectors. Its a small pipe. Put a finger on it and give some accelerator and see if there are any oil deposits on it. If they exists than its backing whose solution is overhauling. (Sorry cant help with EFI engines not so experience)

Check if these things might help. I dont remember exact location of parts as its been quite some days since I last saw civic's engine. I will check out my friend's car and will let ya know if i see something else.

@ immad no car not leaking oil not any more...

@ babarhyd no sounds ( kar kar sounds ) from engine in morning ...

any one of you ever used this oil?

bottle says

reduce oil burning, reduce exhaust smoking, seal rings to improve compression, boost power, save fuel by reducing BLOW, reduce friction.

dont go to honda city sales...

honda fort is the best. secondly they wont tell u or solve ur cng problems since the cng is not company fitted...

go to FTFS and get the cng kit installation checked from there... it could be due to a loose installation... ask them what could be the problem... usually its the cng kit installation.

i wudnt suggest u to open up ur engine apart from the usual maintenance like chaning spark plugs, fuel filters, timing belt etc... those things should be taken care of by honda fort.

get it checked from ftfs, they ll tell u the problem

that bottle has amreekan flag on it and amreekan are Assholes and fucking retards... dont use it

Points to note.

Number 1 ... NEVER EVER USE those Honda oils or Toyota Oils. Get some proper oil. Zic A and Caltex Havoline Formula 10w/40 is a good choice.

Number 2 ... do NOT revv on CNG. It fucks the engine

Number 3 ... no use overhauling if you have more damage than just rings. People here do not rebuilt engines back to factory specs. Get a used engine from the junkyard (forgetting the name of the lahore one, Shoba I think ... for Karachi its Shershah)

Number 4 ... if your car is really consuming oil that bad, there has got to be a leak ... or totally screwed up rings. Open up the engine. IF its the rings ... replace them. Excessive revving on CNG results in screwed up rings. Also check the headgaskets and any other place for the leak.

Number 5 ... forget these additives and such. GOOD oil is the key.

How can a 3 year old Civic with only 35000km on the meter have a leak or bad rings??? I have never seen anything like this.

that will fix the problem
also only get the engine opened if ur car is giving out blue smoke at throttle under full load !
if theres absolutely no blu smoke den the oil is LEAKING not gettin burned up!!!!!!

and bout how it all happened well
theres only one scenerio
ur cng fitter screwed u !!!!!
its all cuz of him!!!

either the cng electronics arent working properly and they screwed up the engine or the more likely case is dat
sum very small hard substance broke off the venturi the cng guy made, landed in the combustion camber and raptured the ring!

IN ANY CASE U SHUD GO UPTO URE CNG FITTER AND FUKKK him over!!!!!

and btw i already poured half bottle of oil from that yellow bottle and mix it with Shell Ultra oil almost 1 littler.. and now gauge stick is showing full oil.... Now after few hundred/thousand miles lets see what happens

@ DeVile CNG was installed from from FTFS...

BtW i never reve engine on CNG and Smoke is coming from silencer when car runs on petrol or when i rev engine on
petrol...

Remove spark plugs and see if they smell like gasoline. If so, you may have a problem with the cylinder walls and/or valve guides. Google "spark plug condition" for pictures of spark plugs and what their condition may show about your engine.

And let's have a Great Big "Fuck You" to the Amreekens.
