Alright.
I'm a little bored these days, as I have nothing good to do. Please recommend me some really good movies. By good I mean GOOD, not teen-flicks, I hate them to death! I like movies, from which people can actually learn, or movies that can really blow a mind away. I like mystery, action, comedy, drama, romance, thriller etc... Almost every genre APART from horror. Here are few of the movies I really really like, it might give you an idea about what kind of movies I'm really into: Shawshank Redemption American beauty X-Men (All of them) Pirates of the Caribbean Lord of the Rings V for Vendetta The Dark Knight The Reader Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind A Walk To Remember Thanks in advance... ciao!

you need to broaden your cinematic horizons. pirates of the caribbean? heres a list of a few films noted for their genius and cultural impact. none of these are boring at all, so don't let that get in your way.
2001: a space odyssey cinema paradiso amadeus aguirre: wrath of god the trial solyaris das leben der anderen tokyo story dekalog (10-part series, with each part being an hour long film)

If you want to learn something out of a movie, watch "The Man from Earth", it is undoubtedly the most intelligent movie ever made.
If you want to try watching true masterpieces then try cinemas of other countries, watch Zwartboek, Joyeux Noël, Une vieille maîtresse, Entre les murs and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex. The list is endless, just try these, if watching Non English cinema is not your cup of tea, at least do try watching "The man from Earth" and Persepolis.

i agree, the man from earth is probably the most innovative recent sci fi film.
der baader meinhof komplex is also a masterpiece, its almost like a german scorsese film. good recommendations.
