someone please explain the bourne series to me =(

guys i just watched all 3 bourne movies and i still dont get the story ...

i know that he was an agent who was highly trained but he lost his memory , in the first one he was supposed to kill some guy on a boat and in the 2nd he killed that famous russian guy but i still don't understand why they told him to kill those people =/ ...

Have you only watched the third movie or the full series.... The storyline is pretty self-explanatory.

Jason Bourne is really David Webb. Who served as an officer who was brainwashed to become an assasin called Jason Bourne. In th ebooks he rediscovers who he really is at the end of the first book. He had a wife and children who were killed.

In the books CIA agent conklin is Bourne's biggest ally, and helps him through out the series. whereas in the movies conklin is a bad guy and is killed off

Also in the books, Bourne's ultimate enemy is a rival assassin called Carlos the Jackal, whom Bourne kills at the end of the third book (The bourne ultimatum).

In the books Bourne is 50 years old at the end of the third book.

Basically the movies are an amalgamation of the first 2 books. There is a copycat in the second movie, and the plot of the second book features a copycat who frames Jason Bourne.

The movie plot is fairly straight forward compared to the books. What do you need to know?
