its not fraud, the way its being practiced here is fraud.. homeopathy has its great philosophy of treatment, and done properly can yield great results to chronic problems..

100% agreed. I have seen homeopathic working where others have failed. I know quite a few people who have been cured ( or their condition has been bettered) by taking homeopathic medicine.

ive been cured by homeopathic meds a couple of times in the past. . particularly .. it has really helped my asthma .. i tried alot of alopathic treatments.. nothign worked.. homeo did

homeo is ideal for chronic diseases, like asthma, BP, partial blindness, etc.. also, they are proven and tested all over... just cuz ther companies produce cheap quality medicine doesnt mean that homoe doesnt work,.. W.Schwabee drugs are tested for years in control group with proper testing, and published..


that artcile which MD quoted is written more out of personnel grudge and spite than nay proper medical/ scientific facts..


PS : i donot suport medicine at all.. except antibiotics and steroids..

Friends and Countrymen ... I knew and I appreciate mixed views about the authenticity of homeopathic medicine, but did you notice I asked "Best Homeopathic Doc" !! I believe this itself reflects the fact that at least I myself believe in the effectiveness of homeopathic medicine .... WOW kaisaaaa .....

So meray bhaiyo, buzurgo, dosto ... I repeat: Just like asking for a good GP, Cardiologist, Gastroenterologist etc (bad one can cause death too), In a very similar manner I am very much interested to know if anybody knows of an authentic and good Homeopathic doctor??

there is a very good homeopathic doctor in Shadman Dr. Yousaf he is a retired colonel or major and has got his degrees from UK I think . My mother got thyroid problem and all the doctors said she will have to eat medicine all her life but we went to this homeopathic doctor and she got cured in 6 months and its been 10 years now and mashAllah she is fine and not even taking any medicine.

Abigor is completely right, and that's what the article I posted also says. Contrary to what you might think, Doc, that article talks at length about how clinical trials how consistently shown that homeopathy does not work better than a placebo. Notice my emphasis on the last part of that sentence. As a doctor, you should know that the placebo effect exists, and that there really isn't an explanation for it. What Ben Goldacre says in the article (and in many other articles, as well as a book he's written on the subject), is that homeopathic 'medicines' are no better than placebos.

All claims in favour of modern homeopathy come from, surprise surprise, homeopaths. Independently conducted trials have shown that they are ineffective. Ben Goldacre might be biased, but he has medical evidence on his side.
