But this is where you're wrong. Nationalists or not, Chinese vendors simply don't have the quality to compete with other international vendors. They can dole out millions of components cheap but I don't think it will be good-quality stuff. Even their 'best' hardly compares up to the mediocre equipment of other vendors. I personally think CM will run into trouble because of the equipment.

PTCL choosed Huawei for WLL equipment as well as ZTE, quality is worst than ever not just in desktop phones but also connectivity.
Here I would like to tell you about Huawei handset phones by PTCL which was such a crap that by only plugging in the charger in handset it showed "charging" without plugging in charger into power line. Worst signal reception, worst battary life & firmware & it got so heat up after 2 minutes that U simply drop the set else it could damage ur ear... ZTE and Huawei simply take u in 80s but still in 80s I think we had some good quality products but they were not made in China.

China provided Cheap products but no concept of quality. These products not only wiped our local industry & endangered future of our economy but also they dont last long.

Correction! I dont know about Scom, China Mobile bought Paktel. On the other hand Insta was taken over by South Korea Telecom (SK telecom). These days Paktel is known as CMPak. And once China Mobile launches, there is no CMPak or Paktel. We have yet to hear about SK Telecom's next move in Pakistan.

Iam saying this cause i myself am an employee of a quality vendor and i hate chinese taking away the market share with cheap low-class equipment :@ i dont think china mobile is going to revive anything and certainly wont come close in terms of quality of service when compared with giants like Mobilink and Telenor.
