Demand Draft in US$

Can anyone tell me how can I make a demand draft in US$.
I do not have Foreign Currency Account otherwise I would have done it but I know that money changers provide this service. I called a couple of ZARCO exchange branches and they told that it takes 3-4 days which I cannot afford as I have to make a draft tomorrow.
And I remember calling one ZARCO branch yesterday and they said they can make it in a day i.e. I pay them in the morning and draft will be ready in the evening, so I think it is possible but I lost their phone no. :P
I need to make a $1000 demand draft tomorrow.

Well go to main branch of National or State Bank and have to take cash (PKR) to get it made. In lahore the main branch is on mall road (neela gumbad) opposite standard chartered bank

Yaar I don't think this will work because I went to Standard Chartered, Habib Metropolitan and UBL but they all said that I need to have an account first.

I even called MCB where I have my account but they say you must have an FCA not ordinary Pak Rupees account.

my mom has an account with UBL ..she's an old account holder with them.. so we just walked in .. talked to the manager.. and he made the bank draft.. no problems. ..

try talking to the manager of ur bank

My problem is solved
Called Khanani and Kalia and they said they can make draft in a day...just give them payment by 11 am...and get draft by 7 pm same day. Charges only Rs. 500

What would you recommend for a TT if you don't have an FC account? I do have an FC account with Meezan bank, but it's horrible. I sent out $300 and only $225 reached the other end, while rest of the amount being deducted in "corresponding banks charges". Terrible!

Oh they deducted $75!!
That's huge amount man...may be you should try KK...just call them and ask about TT
