so im applying to university's and all...and i really dont have any info on these two...so i was hoping somebody here is a student in either hopefully or has info on them whether they are good for COMPUTER SCIENCES(thats what i plan to do) or are they good at all...and in comparison to other uni's like FAST UET NUST etc...

Comsats CS is really good. After Fast, Comsats is what i would recomment you for cs.

LUMS, NUST and GIKI have extremely rigorous programs for CS. They are considered some of the best around the world. FAST is up there too, but be prepared to really be thrashed into the ground. The program is tough but the grads go good places.

no info on UMT but i would recommend FAST...tht is the best around in Computer Sciences...but when u plan to go there...be prepared for the toughest mental exercises u have ever had in ur life...trust me one of my classmates has left computer engg just becuz he had to go there 8 in morning and come 10 at nite and still he could not manage 2.3 cgpa...im not scarying u, just giving u and idea that its not tht easy...

Congrats bro! FAST is one of the best for CS. Now you may not be requiring the info you asked for, but I'd still like to add something as it might prove to be useful for someone like you in future. I'm a CS graduate from UMT. I would only recommend UMT for BSCS to those who've been rejected from FAST, LUMS, GIK, NUST and even UET. The fact is that UMT and COMSATS are both B-Grade universities. Let me put it this way; UMT and COMSATS are two of the better universities in category B - better than universities like UCP, Hajvery, IMS(previously PakAIMS) etc. - but they can't be compared with the likes of LUMS and FAST at this stage.
