(if Reader.Name.Equals(AhmedKhan)) {Post.Text.Add("Just out of curiosity");}
I was checking out institutes in Pakistan offering nuclear engineering degrees and so far found only two : 1) PIEAS - Pakistan Institute of Engineering & Applied Sciences 2) KINPOE - KANUPP Institute of Nuclear Engineering I was wondering : Considering the almost decrepit local nuclear industry, would any institutes here offering nuclear engineering degrees be any good ? Are they internationally accepted ? Does anyone here know someone who's studied from these institutes ?

@khan : he usually flips out whenever I ask a question. I'm afraid someday he'll pull out a gun on me and say "You just HAD to keep asking questions didn't you ?"
@Fookie : No, I haven't applied. I was just wondering about what kind of educational, career opportunities are available in Pakistan in the nuclear engg. field.

They have a 5 year bond after graduation. You're free to go after that. However, you can opt out of the bond by paying 4 lakh bond money.

If they really are as good as Kursed says they are, wouldn't their degree be accepted internationally ?

Are you off your medication again? ![]() I don't recall having any problem with you asking questions. I love questions. P.S. Why did you have to make this thread asking about nuclear and what not. You are not going to apply there then why, WHY? ![]() |

@OS: There are couple of guys from 99CS who have studied at PEAS. They say its good. However, there is no scope in local market. If you need contacts, I can dig.

Well, I was interested in the field at one point but AFAIK you can't get in with a CS background.
Though I'd love some input on that from Ehawk. Quote:
