Zardari, Caught again!!

Today's newspapers said "Zardari's name on top of the list for the people who used NRO for their personal selves(Indirectly, invloved in corruption)" ... I mean he cannot run from every f***in corruption he has made,, can he??

apart from Mr Zard-Ari, our beloved Prime Minister's even more beloved wife's name is also present in the NAB's list...

Soooooo, what's new?

I mean, we are governed by wolves, and wolves do we (as in general public who are sold on one plate biryani + salad + raita and vote for these corrupt people) elect. This is exactly what they should expect, and so should we. Wolves will be wolves. It's their job. What they were born to do. You can't expect Zardari or any of the thousands of NRO beneficiaries to suddenly start clean and do something for their country for a change. This is what they deserve, unfortunately.

The biggest shtickface in this is Gillani. I thought of him as someone comparatively less corrupt, but he has quite a gambling-bitch as a wife. Pity. She was reportedly seen in a London casino a few months back and gambling millions (?), in fact losing all of it. Not to mention the tens of millions she stole from the bank (an agricultural bank of all, for Pete's sake, ZTBL I reckon) after taking a loan and having it cleared without paying a penny. The rest I knew were corrupt, even this so called beauty queen from a religious family. And to top it all, our beloved Prime Minister is quite on this matter.

An across the board revolution is needed, one that results in thousands of hangings and cleanout. But then again, this region is not known for its revolutions and mutinies. So we may be heading towards a soft change. That too, from the looks of it, will take decades at least.

The original lists, the sources said, had now been destroyed after recent meetings between a top personality of the Senate, the law ministry and NAB authorities. They said the amount mentioned against each reference had now been deleted from the fresh list. Interestingly, almost all the cases were settled or closed after Feb 5, 2008."

Original lists were destroyed, so what we will see in current NRO list will be fraction of the fraction of cases that were orignally even brought to NAB.

Jep, I was pretty disappointed to hear that myself. Her name has been circulating for ages and as much as I am willing to give the benefit of the doubt to the PM, her wife doing such shenanigans means only one thing: He is a joru-ka-ghulam. He has no control over his wife. That, or he is the exact opposite of Benazir Bhutto: he lets his spouse do all the corruption. At the end of the day, it all comes back in his house.
