yeah the catalyst looks stable ... and the issues of dual moniters has been resolved in this one... also connecting to the TV now doesnt give me a black screen while playing HL2 or doom3...

yaar is FRAME WORK.NET necassary 4 CONTROL CENTRE??????
i mean i have installed the new catalyst n CONTROL CENTRE but i cant c control centre coz it gives me an error "THE APPLICATION FAILED TO INITIALIZE PROPERLY (0*C0000135).CLICK ON OK TO TERMINATE THE APPLICATION"
now is this messege due to framework?????

Yes you need to have .NET framework 1.1 for CCC to work.

yaar there r many versionz of it.....4 instance there is an SDK version which is of 107mb n other one juz of 10 mb....which one 2 download???

havent benched or so .........magar frame rates are still the same as beta 8.07 which i used previosly

and i dont use CCC ...........( .net framework use to give me lotta prbs)

yaaroon itz givin me a strange prob.....i installed the new catalysts with CCC(28 mb) n also installed .net framework but whenever i click on ATI CATALYST CONTROL CENTRE (shortcut of DESKTOP) nothing happens....
desktop kee display propertiez say jaa ker dekha hai n therz no control panel..
remember i did so after completely removing the previuos catalysts .....
now plz tell me wuth the hell is goin on.......
another thing 2 b noticed k pehlay CCC waalay jo drivers aatay thay woh 40 something MBz k hotay thay n now itz juz of 28 MB...kaheen mujhay woh waala CONTROL CENTRE to download nahin kerna?????

Don't use CCC just used the regular control panel.

yaar catalyst control centre is too much bloated for me... but still i have started to like it... especially that now it has the AI option which the regulaer control panel doesnt have....

yeah just install radlinker and you get AI+profiles+unified api settings...im surprised you havent been using it yet because its quite well known and equally handy...comes bundled with the omegas...the ccc in its current state is still pretty crap.

yaar Reaper waisay i havent tried any other Ati drivcers ever... the catalysts do the job for me....

all the "appeal" of the ccc has been available for a long time but in a much better package and modified drivers do no harm...give them a try.

main nay issay install kiya hai with 5.1.....(whole package of 28 mb)
.net framework is also installed....now prob is k whenever i click on ATI CATALYST CONTROL CENTRE (desktop shortcut) nothing happens......
when i try 2 go 2 CONTROL PANEL from desktop properties then therez no CONTROL PANEL.....now tell me wutz goin on??????i have reinstalled every thing xcept WINDOWZ but all in vain....classic control panel k ooper bhi CCC ko install ker k dekha laikin kuch nahin hoa

5.1 are pretty nice thus far. And got a minor speed bump with them also.
