Good news. esp for ATI HD4000 series Graphics Card owners. This version of catalyst introduces a new feature under ATI Overdrive options (Fan Speed Control along with previous Core and Memory Clock settings). Yes!!!! fiddling with those .xml files is not needed anymore.

Grab them here

Just select desired clock speeds and fan rotation speed and create a profile through profile manager. Put a shortcut to desktop and activate them instantly.

My Card now idles at 40-45 degrees !! before it was like 55 !

What are the load temperatures at default CCC controlled fan speed? I am curious to know load temps. of ICEQ HD4850...
