winrar allows files to be compressed as well as split.
Here's the procedure: 1. Add rep ![]() 2. Make sure you have WinRar installed 3. Right click the file or folder you want to compress 4. select "add to archive" 5. In the window that opens, select the compression method 6. In the bottom left corner of the window, there is an option that says "split into volumes, bytes", select a size from the drop down list or enter your own size. 7. Select OK

Compression depends on many things, some files are compressed more and some less, it's different from file to file. Use the compression utilities, i don't think there is any other way.

UnRAR and freearc it (google)
IF the data is about 5GB, unRaR, see if u can delete non english languages to get the data down to dvd5 size. This worked for prior versions of the game. But try before u burn |

I have a question, I have tried compressing files using WinRAR, and the file size decreased to about 4200 mb, (original above 5GB), but still i wasn't able to write it on a DVD, and when i stored it on a usb, it still used 5GB space. Reasons???

Try 7zip.
Actual files size is different from size on disk. That is because of minimum cluster size on your disk. For example, if minimum cluster size on your disk is 32KB then your 1KB file will also take the slot of 32KB (wasting 31KB). That is just example, the cluster size could be bigger. |

in my experience 7zip fails miserably.. i downloaded 5 archives from different places and 7zip wasnt able to uncompress any one of them .. i then read up on the issue and turns out that this is a critical flaw in 7zip ..
