Hi All,
I'm getting following error at the time of booting: Intel CPU uCode loading error, press F1 to continue. When i hit the f1 button the system starts without any problem and runs properly. Can anyone tell me what is the problem and how i can get rid of this thing. My system specs are as follows: C2Q Q6600 @ 2.4 Asus P5B-VM WD 250GB HD Cooler Master 600W Sli Ready PSU XFX 7900GS. Thanks. |

if this a totally new build, reset ur bios (clear real time clock jumper on the mobo OR take the battery out for 5 mins).
the default bios on the mobo should work with a q6600. check to see if the bios version on ur board is the latest release ed. (not beta). if reseting the bios doesnt work. get the latest (non beta) bios off asus website and reflash ur bios IN DOS (DONT USE WINDOWS BASED BIOS FLASHER) |
