Default winxp loading problem!!

Hi everyone

I have windows XP SP2 on my PC. The problem i face is that after the winxp loading screen the computer automatically restarts. Instead of displaying the logon screen(where i enter the password for my admin account) the computer simply restarts!!! Ive tried alot of times but no luck. Once or twice I also saw a BSOD(before the restart....but it came up for 0.1 second only)

I must state here that I also faced this problem a week back but back then I tried pushing my video card(6800gt) and slighlty poked the cable cluster in my casing and this problem dissapeared. I tried doing the same this time but it didnt worked. And yes my video card is working(its fan works).
My system specs are

Amd 64 3000+
MSI K8N Neo2 Plat
1 GB Dual Channel Corsair XMS PC3200 2.5-3-3-6
eVGA e-GeForce 6800GT 256MB
80 GB Seagate Barracuda SATA
LG CD-RW/DVD Combo
Macron 400W PSU
Sony 21" Multiscan G500

kindly help me asap!!!

Random restarts might be caused by insufficient input power to the PSU. Check your wall voltage. If you can jiggle connections and fix it, the contacts in the connection might be corroded. Remove and reseat the video card 10-12 times as well as your other connectors. Hope this helps.
