i can tell u how to make a usb drive bootable into Windows 98 DOS

download this software
http://files.extremeoverclocking.com/file.php?f=197

then download the win 98 DOS files from:
http://www.cdrom-drivers.com/drivers/9/9882.htm
the filename is "win98boot.zip" if you can't download it from here just google it and you'll get another source

install the hp utility, unzip the dos files in a folder, connect ur flash drive and run the hp utility, choose ms-dos bootable, give it the location of the files that u unzipped

you know something that might be worth trying is to extract the iso files using win-rar into a folder and then trying the hp utility with those files. my flash drive is at a friends place so i haven't been able to try this

I extracted iso images but HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool shows error There are no valid dos system files at specified location.

I have iso images . I want to mount them on flash drive and make flashdrive bootable. Is there any way....????

No i don't want to boot xp, I have already xp cd for this purpose. All i want is boot from iso images which are .......
First is norton ghost cd image (small 2mb image to access norton ghost in dos)
Second is windows keyinterpriese image. ( to bypass window pasword).

Now i want to mount them on flash drive ......is there any hope.

J A M
i would recommend using a cd-rw and a multi boot creator for that purpose

yes the flash drive is readable in DOS

J A M check if norton ghost is DOS based, if it is, then just make the DOS bootable usb, extract the norton iso into a folder on the usb and boot into that and start the application from withing dos prompt, same goes for the windows key...
btw i've tested the following software to remove windows vista / xp passwords
http://home.eunet.no/~pnordahl/ntpasswd/bootdisk.html

@Ice Man . CD rw , multi boot.....Yeah may be if usb doesn't work but first preference is usb.
Yeah the Norton ghost is dos based . I have NTFS partitions, so the main problem is that these partitions are not accessible in dos.( may be accessible in dos 7 or higher), so no use of using dos anymore. I want norton ghost to boot and load automatically in dos.
When i had FAt32 it was very easy procedure, pressing F8 and go into command prompt and dos. Then go to location of Norton ghost and run it manually.....very easy one.
Now i can't use dos ......May be dos 7 can solve the problem.
