Noctis and the gang seem to be doing alright across the pond securing the number two spot in sales. Square Enix’s epic RPG Final Fantasy XV just became the second fastest-selling game in the Final Fantasy franchise in the United Kingdom.

According to GfK Chart-Track, Final Fantasy XV has had a pretty strong debut in the UK. Final Fantasy XIII is still the franchise’s fastest-selling game in the franchise by these figures, but it’s important to note that these charts don’t consider digital sales which are much more important now than they were when FFXII launched.

This means Final Fantasy XV could have very well surpassed its predecessor with digital sales. Regardless, Square Enix’s biggest concern is going to be maintaining sales next few weeks considering that Final Fantasy XIII’s sales fell off around 80% in the week following the release. Anything is possible, though, especially since FFXV is already doing incredibly well everywhere else.

FIFA 17 is still holding strong in the number 1 position for another week, pushing it passed 2 million copies sold. To give you an idea on how well FIFA 17 is doing, no other game in the UK has yet to hit the 1 million mark this year. We also see that Call of Duty, Forza, and Battlefield are still doing well even though they have been out for a while.
