Fallout 4 Cut Quest Details Emerge In Audio Files For Holt, Alexis And Tina
Fallout 4, the latest entry of the series developed by Bethesda, is truly a massive game. Like many other games, Fallout 4 could have been even more massive, as there’s evidence of plenty of content that didn’t make it to the final version of the game. More details on what seems like a cut quest have surfaced online a few hours ago.
Earlier today reddit user KungFuMan316 has reported that he has found some interesting bits about the Vault and a cut quest by checking out some of the game’s audio files for Holt, Alexis and Tina. Avoid reading about the recent discoveries if you have yet to complete the game, as there are some mild spoilers in the description.
-Holt and the Overseer would have gotten sick, with her stepping down and Dr. Forsythe apparently taking over.
-The adultery quest would have had multiple options: Tell Alexis (convince her to keep him or kick him out), Confront Holt (convince him to keep up the affair, stay with his wife, stay with Tina, or leave both and come with you (which is probably where the guide got its wrong info from as this got cut))
-Holt really likes how enthusiastic Tina is! …Tina is blatantly using him to get Jet. No, really. That’s where Bobby was getting it. She’s very ho-hum about it.
-Neither Holt nor Tina have any dialogue for being “out in the world”, which is why they don’t say anything. I’m still digging through the files, as is Danse has a TON related to both Blind Betrayal and the survivor-becoming-Elder thing that don’t play in game (in fact I’m not finding evidence of the other characters regarding you as Elder, though I’ll keep digging). Anyway, thought you folks might find this bit neat.
Last month a new Fallout 4 update has been released on PC. The update 1.3 came with plenty of new features such as a new ambient occlusion setting for HBAO+, a new weapon debris effect powered by NVIDIA FleX technology and more. The update is still in beta, so some of the new features may not function correctly. The update has also yet to be released on consoles.
Fallout 4 is now available in all regions on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
