ECS is developing a new high-end motherboard called the P55H-AK. As the motherboard has been listed on ECS’s website its evident that it will be released soon.

The board supports CrossfireX and 3 way SLI. The board has 3 PCI-E x16 slots and two PCI-E x1 slots as well as one PCI slot. It has all the latest features including USB 3.0 and SATA 6GB/s. There are two onboard USB 3.0 controllers, two USB 3.0 ports are on the back and two have an internal header making them 4 in total. There are 8 SATA slots, 2 of which are at SATA 6GB/s whereas the rest are SATA 2 GB/s. Other features include, 12 USB 2.0 ports (8 on back panel) , 8 Channel audio, eSATA and dual Ethernet ports. The board supports DDR3 memory in dual channel configuration over 4 DIMM slots.

The board has an onboard Nvidia Nforce 200chip builtt-in which provides 16x-8x-8x bandwidth when three GPUs are used, and 16x-8x when two GPUs are used. The board is based on the P55 chipset and supports LGA1156 based processors like the Core i5 and Core i7 8xx series.
