Pre-Load The Division Open Beta Right Now – Download Links for PC, PS4 and Xbox One Available Here
The next and final round of beta testing phase for Tom Clancy’s The Division, which is open for all to take part in, will commence on all platforms starting today, just as Ubisoft promised last week. Those who are planning to participate and jump into the game as soon as it goes live might be excited to know that The Division open beta build is already up for pre-load and you can start downloading it on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One right now.
Players Can Now Download the Latest Beta Build of The Division Before Open Beta Goes Live on All Platforms
If you haven’t already toured the disease-ridden world of Ubisoft’s long-awaited upcoming open world role-playing online third-person shooter, you now have a chance to do so. For one last time before the game goes gold and hit the shelves for current-gen consoles, the publisher is allowing players on all platforms to play the beta version of the game. The Division open beta starts today, February 18, on Xbox One, and will be made available to players on PC and PlayStation 4 tomorrow. Download links for the latest build have been shared below.
The Division open beta build weighs 23.8 GB on Xbox One and 24.3 GB on PlayStation 4. Ubisoft has stated that those who took part in last month’s closed beta phase won’t need to pre-install the client again; instead, a 1.6 GB patch that packs all the changes implemented since January will be all that they need. The progress from The Division closed beta won’t carry over, according to a news post on Steam. You can check out the patch notes here for details on everything that has changed from the closed beta to the open beta.
As mentioned before, Xbox One users will be the first to get access to The Division open beta, with the servers scheduled to come online on February 18 at 1 AM PST / 4 AM EST. PC and PlayStation 4 players will be able to jump in as soon as the servers go live on February 19 at 4 AM PST / 7 AM EST. The beta will come to an end on all platforms on Monday, February 22, at 4 AM PST / 7 AM EST, that is of course, if Ubisoft doesn’t decide to extend it.
After multiple delays, the final retail version of The Division is now set to release on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on March 8. Last month, Ubisoft confirmed via a blog post that the upcoming game will have no support for mods as the massive online open world of the game makes “modding support technically challenging.” However, players have already managed to crank up the visuals of the PC version of the game using SweetFX graphics mod.
