The Second Beta of iOS 9.3 is Now Available For Developers

iOS 9.3 is a big update for developers and end users if you go through the list of changes it brings to the table. In fact, it’s safe to say that some features in iOS 9.3 beta are worthy enough to be a part of iOS 10, due for release later this year, instead of iOS 9.x itself. And to give developers even more assurance that Apple is not resting behind the scenes when it comes to its mobile software, the company has today seeded the second beta build of iOS 9.3 to those who are enrolled into the Apple Developer Program.

How can you download the new beta you ask? It’s fairly simple. Simply make sure that you have more than 50% battery on your iOS device and that you are connected to a working and stable WiFi connection. Once that’s out of the way, simply go to Settings > General > Software Update and you’ll see the iOS 9.3 beta 2 download waiting for your approval. Simply tap on ‘Download and Install’ and you’re all set. Also keep in mind that the installation can take a while depending on the device you’re installing the pre-release build on, so please try to exercise patience while the download is in progress.

If you haven’t downloaded iOS 9.3 beta before, then getting to grips with it is absolutely a walk in the park, as Apple is offering the pre-release piece of software to test out to public testers as well. You can jump right into the action by pointing your browser to beta.apple.com.

iOS 9.3 is packed with a bunch of great features, such as Night Shift mode, that alters the tint of the display depending on the time of the day, essentially allowing users to put less strain on their eyes while their using an iPhone or iPad. Furthermore, Apple has also tossed in some new 3D Touch shortcuts in the new build as well as Touch ID notes.

We encourage every user to update their device straight away to iOS 9.3 beta 2 without giving it a second thought, after all, the new pre-release build is also packed with bug fixes and performance enhancements, something which are a must-have if you happen to have installed beta software onto your primary device.

So what you are waiting for? Download away!
