After bestowing a new look to the web interface of Gmail, Google Reader and others Google has now released an official Gmail App for iPhone, iPod and iPad today with the support of push messages. Don’t want to rely on iOS Mail app then get it on your iDevice now.

What do you get from the app? Well in short a lot! The app provides new fantabulous features which you’ve always dreamt of while using Gmail on iPhone, iPod or iPad before. Some of the new features included in this app are:

• Push notifications
• Search across all emails
• Autocomplete from you gmail/phone contacts
• Upload photos with the attachment button
• On iPad you can navigate mail with split mode.
• Add labels, star, archive and report email as scam
• Priority Inbox
• Thread view

Not only that but the app has been developed to interact fully with the iPhone, iPod and iPad with its intriguing multi touch gestures. In order to refresh your inbox simply pull down the inbox. A right swipe would reveal labels without having to leave the inbox. You can scroll through countless emails easily and swiftly by just flicking your finger across the screen.
