Dishonored 2 November Release Date Confirmed, Gameplay Premiere Coming Next Month

Dishonored 2, sequel to the very interesting first person game developed by Arkane for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC, has been revealed during E3 2015, but not much else has been said about the game in the following month. From now on, however, we are surely going to learn more about the game, as publisher Bethesda has confirmed today when the game will launch in North America and Europe.

Dishonored 2 will finally hit PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in North America and Europe on Niovember 11th. New details on the game will be revealed by the next issue of Game Informer magazine, which will be available this Saturday, May 7th. More Dishonored 2 gameplay will be shown during Bethesda’s E3 2016 showcase, which will be held in Los Angeles, California, on June 12 beginning at 7pm PST, and streamed live on Twitch and YouTube.

Dishonored 2 will feature two playable characters, the royal protector Corvo and Empress Emily Kaldwin. Many of the gameplay mechanics that defined the original’s experience will also be found in Dishonored 2, with players being able to proceed through the game unseen, take advantage of the game’s brutal battle system or both.

Reprise your role as a supernatural assassin in Dishonored 2. Play your way in a world where mysticism and industry collide. Will you choose to play as Empress Emily Kaldwin or the royal protector, Corvo Attano? Will you make your way through the game unseen, make full use of its brutal combat system or use a blend of both? How will you combine your character’s unique set of powers, weapons and gadgets to eliminate your enemies? The story responds to your choices, leading to intriguing outcomes as you play through each of the game’s hand-crafted missions.
