Everyone has their eyes on Valve’s Steam Machines that would be revealed by over 12 different PC maufacturers including Valve itself at Consumer Electronics Show 2014. Several manufacturers have already revealed certain models of Steam Machines and their specifications. Another Manufacturer Joins The Class – Specifications For Two New CyberPowerPC Steam Machines Revealed

Steam Machines is a range of new gaming consoles build from off-the-self PC parts that are aimed to change the concept of living room PC gaming. All the Steam Machines would run SteamOS, the first true gaming operating system by Valve, although some of them would also boot Microsoft Windows.

Valve is on the big stage at this year’s CES, the company would reveal details and information on its upcoming latest lineup of Steam Machines in its keynote that is scheduled for Monday afternoon, but details regarding the Steam Machines are already leaking out. Reportedly there are 12 different PC manufacturers that have teamed up with Valve to develop Steam Machines.

CyberPower Inc. is one of the reported 12 partners of Valve, and the manufacturer has announced its take on the Steam Machines. Specefications for two new CyberPowerPC Steam Machines have been revealed, one of which is AMD and the other is Intel/NVIDIA Powered. Both the Steam Machines would run the latest version of SteamOS, a linux-based gaming operating system and would be able to run all the games currently present in Steam games library as well as new upcoming next-gen title.s

CyberPowerPC Steam Machines would include high-density mass storage, USB 3.0 ports and WiFi and Bluetooth for wireless connectivity. Both the systems would be further customizable. The main controller hardware to accompany CyberPowerPC Steam Machines would be Steam Controller, only one of its type controller which features two circular trackpads in place of the analog sticks. The trackpads are clickable and give more precision and accuracy than the traditional analog sticks, this makes the Steam Controller stand above the other normal controllers and close to keyboard and mouse.
