Viscreal, The Developer of the upcoming Deadspace 2 has promised CVG that it has sorted out the control’s of the game for the PC version and users wont face the same control related issue’s as the previous one.
The PC gamers experienced some juddgery controls while playing the previous game with a keyboard and mouse which was due to a problem causing port of the console part of the game. Steve Papoutsis the executive producer if Viscreal told that he was well aware of the problem and will fix it up but he still recommended a Joypad to be used with the second part of the game.
“Yeah – we’ve heard that feedback,” he said. “That’s something we’re focused on trying to improve. Not to sound snarky, but with Dead Space, honestly, the way we’re playing it is with a gamepad. Even if you’re a PC guy – if you have one – stick [your pad] in your PC and play the game with that.
“That’s the thing when we’re working on it that we have every day and we have readily available. But this time out we have people dedicated on working to improve the controls for PC players.Advertisement
“Out of the box, we’re hopeful the PC version this time will respond a lot better and that people will be a lot more comfortable and happier with the controls. That is feedback we’ve heard and we’re certainly trying to address it.”
This sounds like a good news for PC gamers waiting for Deadspace2. The game will be released next year on the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
