Day of the Tentacle Remastered Gets Gorgeous Screenshots Showcasing the Rebirth of one of the Greatest Adventures Ever Made
Day of the Tentacle, or Maniac Mansion II: Day of the Tentacle was developed and published by LucasArts in 1993, the sequel to Maniac Mansion, which released in 1987.
Day of the Tentacle Remastered brings one of the greatest adventures ever to a new generation
The update to the classic game was announced at the PlayStation Experience 2014, and features all new hand-drawn, high-resolution artwork as well as remastered audio, music and sound effects. The Remaster will also include a commentary track by the original creators (Tim Schafer, Dave Grossman, Larry Ahern, Peter Chan, Peter McConnell, and Clint Bajakian). Players will also be able to toggle between the classic and the remastered artwork with a touch of a button. Double Fine Studios, have just revealed a set of screenshots showcasing the beautiful new artwork, which can be viewed in the gallery below.

The prequel to Day of the Tentacle, Maniac Mansion will also be included in Day of the Tentacle Remastered. Day of the Tentacle Remastered will release on the PlayStation 4, PS Vita, PC, and Mac in early 2016, with the PlayStation versions supporting cross-buy.
