The Crysis 3 system requirements on PC platform have finally been revealed showing that the game would once again spam various sites and forums with the one age-old question ‘Will it run Crysis?’.

Being developed by Crytek Fankfurt, Crysis 3 is set to become one of the blockbuster First person shooter of 2013 arriving simultaneously on the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. Publisher of the game, Electronic Arts revealed the system requirements for Crysis 3 today.

Crysis 3 System Requirements for PC – Will your PC Run it?

The system requirements show that at minimum settings, the game would run fine on a Dual Core CPU coupled with a entry level GTS 450 GPU with 1 GB VRAM. DirectX 11 seems to be a must to run the game, also the only supported operating systems are Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8. These means that the DX10 or DX9 GPU owners would have to get an upgrade to DX11 capable GPUs if they want to run the game since the Alpha version of Crysis 3 was only able to run for DirectX 11 GPU users. Honestly speaking, the switch to DirectX 11 only doesn’t seem wrong at all since the API offers improved performance over DirectX 9 and 10 with better visuals such as Tessellation and Lightning schemes.

For the hardcore PC audience, the system requirements which have been listed are quite hefty. The recommended requirements require a either a Core i3 or Phenom II X2 level CPU with HD 5870 or GTX 560 GPUs.  Although the specs list a Quad Core CPU as recommended but a CPU with four threads would also do fine considering Crysis has always been heavy on the GPU side. 4 GB memory is a must though.

The High Performance System requirements surely are high in specs too. CPU requirement goes through the roof with either i7 2600K or FX-4150 (Not a valid competitor but could be a typo, e.g FX-8150). On the GPU side, a single HD 7970 or GTX 680 is recommended but for people running 3D Vision or Eyefinity setups, Crossfire and SLI would be a better option. On the memory side, 8 GB ram would be ideally enough to handle the game. You can check the specifications below:
