A Super Mario Tech Demo was created in Unreal Engine 4, by CryZENx, and it looks incredible. It’s still in its early stages, but it can give us a glimpse of what a new Mario game could look like on the new Nintendo system. Shigeru Miyamoto already shared his thoughts of bringing the italian plumber in a new way on their next console (before the Nintendo NX was announced), and probably as a launch title for the platform.

The previous Super Mario project that was created in the Unity Engine was taken down by Nintendo, so sooner or later this one will too. Be sure to use this link to download the demo in time.

Even though Nintendo, after announcing the existence of the NX system, stated that more information will be revealed next year, it seems a little peculiar given that they are holding a press conference at E3 2015. Nintendo has been absent from the event for the last couple of years, so they must have something quite special planned. After the recent announcement that The Legend of Zelda for the Wii U will be delayed to 2016, and will not make an appearance at this year’s E3, it begs the question, what’s left for them to showcase at E3 besides revealing the new system?
