Celebrations Are Set In Place For Pokémon GO! First Anniversary- A Huge Set Of Festivities Are Planned Across The Globe

The famous game Pokémon GO has achieved two great milestones and the company is celebrating today. It is the one year anniversary of this iconic game and the company has succeeded in getting 750 million global downloads. The coming few months will be filled with excitement for the company and customers alike. The company is planning some real-game and in-game events that you can enjoy with your friends and family. So clear your schedules and start preparing for the best time of your lives.

Pokemon GO- Chicago here I come!

To kick things off the first thing in the set of events is a Solstice Event on the 13th of June 2017. This is an in-game event and will be featuring Fire-type and Ice-type Pokémon. If you manage to throw Poké Balls accurately you will get huge XP bonuses. There will also be a new group gameplay feature that will allow you to play the game in much more exciting ways. The company is in preparation of the event and till then will be disabling Gyms from the game.

The best thing is yet to come. The company has announced its first ever real-world Pokémon GO event- Pokémon GO Fest Chicago! The event will take place on July 22nd 2017 in the beautiful Grant Park in downtown Chicago, Illinois, USA. The company has a ton of festivities prepared for fans. Tickets and more information on the event will be available at PokemonGOLive.com/Fest on Monday June 19th 10:00 A.M. PDT. So mark your calendars and set alarms for this particular date. Europe and Japan

European trainers, don’t be disappointed. Pokémon GO celebrations will be held across the continent from June to September. These celebrations will be brought to you by the Pokémon GO team and Unibail-Rodamco shopping centers. The events haven’t been announced yet but soon the details will be posted. Things don’t end here. There is more. There will be a ‘Pickachi Outbreak’, an event in Yokohama, Japan. This event will take place in August this year and the users will get a unique Pokémon GO experience. In the coming few weeks the company will announce more details on these events so stay tuned.
