Mortal Kombat was every 2-D fighters dream come true in the year 2011; it offered something which Street Fighter, Marvel vs Capcom and many other fighters can NEVER pull off. The beauty of gore shown through fatalities, damage to the players after the fight and not to mention blood splatter ALL over the place at the end of a battle. The game came with a very amazing multiplayer system which included King of the Hill mode making the game a must buy for fans of the legendary series, but it gets better as the Komplete Edition will give you Rain, Skarlet, Kenshi and Freddy Krueger along with ALL the original pre-order original costumes for characters such as Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Jade, Kitana AND MORE.
In the early days of racing where players had bird eye views of their cars instead of inside or behind the car camera perspective, those were the glory days of some of the best racing games on such as Micro Madness, Super Cars and Super Sprint on the NES. But the newest Fuel is going back in time and bringing the bird eye view camera angle back to gaming, but with a twist in the middle.
Battlefield 3 is an absolutely amazing game when it comes to multiplayer but since its launch there have still been issues on all the versions and each time a patch is released sometimes new problems come up or old problems become worse, DICE has been listening to the qualms of many players on various platforms and are hard at work on the biggest patch yet which will bring enough changes to satisfy any and all complaints gamers have with the game. If you are planning on reading the patch notes you are in for the sitting time of your life because the patch note is MASSIVE not to mention that the change log is still not complete and more can be added / removed.
This might be not the most conventional way of announcing a game, but Kojima Productions have unveiled the new Metal Gear Solid via new job offerings. After the success of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, Hideo Kojima announced Metal Gear Solid: Rising at Microsoft’s stage at E3 2009. Rising was everything MGS is not supposed to be with all the focus on slicing things and not much on stealth. Stealth was removed as a whole when Rising was passed over to Platinum Games. But no one imagined it would be because Kojima and Co. is working on a new Metal Gear Solid.
It seems that people are getting a little to anxious when it comes to sharing “secret” projects on their LinkedIn profiles. First God of War 4 and a new Medal of Honor are spotted courtesy of an anxious LinkedIn Member and now this. Black Ops 2 has long been under rumor to be Activisions next yearly Call of Duty title for the year of 2012 after it was spotted for pre-order on Amazon by Gameblog.fr but this is some new evidence which has surfaced which shows the existence of Black Ops 2 as a plausible sequel.
Earth is in peril of being wiped from existence, Shepard and his crew are out on their final mission to make sure that they stop the reapers or die trying. Along the way you can ally your self with aliens and factions to help you in your battle for the fate of humanity. The newer trailer is pretty touching as it shows the sad demise of a beautiful field of sunflowers turn into ash with war ensuing, this is without a doubt one of the best Mass Effect games to come out and will definitely turn a few heads when it releases next month.
Capcom recently announced Resident Evil 6 which somewhat returns to the series’ roots but while staying different enough to draw in new mainstream audience. Capcom also made some reveals in the current issue of the Japanese magazine Famitsu, in which they’ve shared some new screens and details.

Journey is a lost gem in the world of PlayStation Exclusives, while it may not have the hype of Final Fantasy Versus XIII or the Last Guardian it is still a superb game. Made from the creators of Flower (which I might add despite the genre is an AMAZING game) and flOw, The makers of the game “ThatGameCompany” finished the game not more than a few months ago and were waiting for Sony to put the game on their store. It seems that Sony has announced a release date for this spectacular game for the NA and EU region PSN stores for the price of $14.99.
Assassin’s Creed III was coming, it is not a surprise. But release date confirmation before a trailer was unforeseen. Today at Ubisoft’s financial calls, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot said, “Assassin’s Creed 3 is the true next generation of both the Assassin’s Creed brand and interactive entertainment/storytelling in general.” And then proceeded to announce the Assassin’s Creed III’s release date as October 30th, 2012. Although given Ubisoft’s track record, it might take a few more months for the PC version of Assassin’s Creed III to see the light of day.
