UPDATED: Call Of Duty; Blacks Ops 3 Limited Edition 1TB PS4 Bundle Listed By Amazon
UPDATED: Sony has officially announced the bundle and has published shots from the bundle
Retailer Amazon.com has listed a limited edition PS4 ‘Black Ops 3’ bundle which is said to include a 1TB hard drive.
A release date or price hasn’t been listed and the bundle isn’t up for pre-order either. Apart from the PS4 console, Amazon has also listed a Call of Duty – Limited edition Dualshock 4 controller. We’ve screenshotted the listings in case the pages get taken down. Since Sony hasn’t officially announced any Black Ops III PS4 bundle, the listings might well have been put up too early by Amazon. If the listing is correct, this might be an amazing deal for those who want to jump in with Blacks Ops III on PS4. With Black Friday around the corner, we’re sure this bundle will sell amazingly well when released.
Check out the official shots from the bundle below:
This PS4 features the Call of Duty: Black Ops III ember orange logo on a Jet Black chassis, complete with colored power and eject buttons, as well as three emblems on the front each representing a game mode — the SOG Skull signifies campaign, the Winslow Accord faction logo is pulled straight from the game’s fiction, representing one of the factions you play in multiplayer, and “the mark” denotes zombies.
The DualShock 4 included has a grey and orange color scheme, along with the III logo on the right grip. We’ll also sell the DualShock 4 as a standalone item separately from the bundle.
Also included is the standard edition of the blockbuster game, along with the bonus NUK3TOWN multiplayer map.* That’s right, the most popular map in Black Ops history re-imagined for a new generation of play.
The PS4 included has a 1TB hard disk drive, the first of its kind in North America. That’s plenty of room for the DLC — which comes 30 days earlier on PS4 — and saved videos of your best matches. That Share button is going to get a workout, too — our 3.00 system software update for PS4 adds the ability to share short video clips directly to Twitter natively, making it much easier to share your multiplayer feats with the world.
At last E3, Sony’s Andrew House announced that, in his vision, the Playstation 4 is now the home of the Call of Duty series. Map packs will first be released on the PS4. The deal brought an end to several years of Microsoft timed-exclusivity of Call of Duty DLC.
Last month Black Ops III developer Treyarch, announced that the Beta for Black Ops III had become the largest beta in the history of Sony’s Playstation 4. Millions of gamers downloaded and played the beta, which provided critical feedback and technical data at scale for the Treyarch development team to further fine-tune and polish in preparation for the 6th November launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops III.
Blacks Ops III releases globally for the PS4, Xbox One and PC on November 6th, 2015.
