Call of Duty: Black Ops nearly breaks Modern Warfare 2 pre order record

That’s right folks, there has been a lot of hype over this game especially for the LARGELY revamped Multiplayer mode. And today this game has done the expected, it has nearly broken Modern Warfare 2 record of the MOST pre ordered game ever. Amazon has reported that pre order sale numbers are huge for this game on practically every platform, the game has even beaten the pre order sales of Red Dead Redemption and Halo: Reach.

Although the main reason I will be getting this game will definitely be for the new Multiplayer modes but I would also like to see whether Treyarch did give any focus to a good story mode. Although the trailers show a lot of promise to the Single Player campaign I hope it’s just as addictive as Modern Warfare 2 where the replay value is endless.

The game will be out early November on every platform (XBOX 360, PS3, PC, Wii and the Nintendo DS) and I for one can not wait for this game to hit local shelves. Now if only Modern Warfare 3 were to get announced very soon I would definitely be more psyched but maybe next year we will hear something about a Modern Warfare 3, for now lets enjoy being some one who isn’t supposed to exist in Black Ops.
