Black Ops 3 ‘Alpha’ Build at E3, Beta Might be Coming in August, Gamescom Build “Nearly” Finished

Call of Duty Black Ops 3 is releasing this holiday season and many Call of Duty fans are eager to see some new footage from the game. Pre-ordering the game will get players access to the beta and Treyarch’s design director David Vonderhaar might have hinted at a beta launch before Gamescom 2015.

Vonderhaar responded to some tweets from a fan asking about the multiplayer beta. According to Vonderhaar the Beta will be available at your home but the build for the upcoming E3 and Gamescom will be something different:

Vonderhaar explained that the build that will be available at the E3 will be the ‘Alpha’ build and added that the Gamescom build is “nearly” finished:

Treyarch’s studio head Mark Lumia, in a recent interview, stated that Treyarch’s aim is to make all three versions of Black Ops 3 look very good. He emphasised that Treyarch’s 300 employees want to ensure that  “PC Gamers get the best possible experience” They don’t want the PC version feel like it’s in “second Place”.

The requirements for the PC version of Black Ops 3 are as follows:

The pre-order page for Black Ops 3 is now open and grants you access to the Beta. We will bring you any new information on Black Ops 3 as soon as it becomes available. The title is being developed by Treyarch for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC and will release on November 6 2015.
