While Mass Effect 3 was supposed to be the shinning knight of the Mass Effect trilogy it turned out to be less than expected when the majority of the community united as one and ganged up on Bioware to give them (the players) a more suitable ending, while the cries were unheard at first and went unnoticed for a long time it seems that Bioware has finally come around and now making a FREE DLC available (Yes you read that right, EA is going to give FREE DLC) to help calm down the angry fans who were less than satisfied with the games original ending.

Mass Effect 3 will finally be able to redeem itself as Bioware gives in to the demand of its large fan base and finally succumbs to giving them what they want at no additional cost to the players and the DLC will be available for free till the 14th of April 2014 so that future players of the game will have a couple of years to see what we waited a long time for.

This is a very good move from Bioware’s side as Mass Effect is their prized game and perhaps their best work in YEARS, for them to leave the trilogy at such a horrid ending would forever scar the name of the series it is good to see the famous video game company show love to their fans by giving them what they wanted even though it was quite the wait. The DLC will come this summer with no fixed release date as of yet and will be available on all platforms.

“We are all incredibly proud of Mass Effect 3 and the work done by Casey Hudson and team”

“Since launch, we have had time to listen to the feedback from our most passionate fans and we are responding. With the Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut we think we have struck a good balance in delivering the answers players are looking for while maintaining the team’s artistic vision for the end of this story arc in the Mass Effect universe.”

Executive producer Casey Hudson added: “We have reprioritized our post-launch development efforts to provide the fans who want more closure with even more context and clarity to the ending of the game, in a way that will feel more personalized for each player.”
