Bethesda is “busier” than ever before, and the studio is currently working hard on three “longer term projects” which are “different” from usual, but in Bethesda-style.

Todd Howard, Bethesda’s executive producer and game director, said as much during the DICE Summit keynote.

Check out the Howard’s talk down below:

According Howard, the studio is busier than they have ever been, and more regarding the ‘secret’ projects will be shared on a future date. The game director revealed that the 3 new projects were “different” than anything they have done before. Luckily, the projects are still ‘Bethesda-styled’.

“We are busier now than we have ever been. We have all the DLC going for Fallout, we are overhauling the Survival Mode, and that’s some of the most fun I’ve ever had when playing the game. It really changes it,” according Howard. “It’s harder, but it is more than that, it just makes it different.

The new games will be “big” and “crazy”, much like The Elder Scrolls and Fallout.

Howard shared to be excited about the future ahead.

“Big and crazy, but in many ways different than things we’ve done before. It’s an exciting time.”

This week, Bethesda detailed the upcoming DLC for Fallout 4, while also announcing a closed beta for all additional content. The first DLC pack for Fallout 4 will be called Automatron. The pack, which will be released during March 2016, will see players fighting against a horde of evil robots unleashed by the mysterious Mechanist.

The second Fallout 4 DLC pack, called Wasteland, will be released during April. The pack will allow players to design and set cages to capture live creatures that can be tamed, fought and more. The pack will also include new design options for settlements.

The third DLC pack, Far Harbor, will be released during May 2016. This pack promises to be the biggest of the three packs revealed today, with players having to travel to Far Harbor to bring peace to the land, a land made more feral by higher lever of radiation.
