Beta 4 of iOS 10.3, macOS 10.12.4 & watchOS 3.2 Released – How to Update

Apple has released iOS 10.3 Beta 4, macOS 10.12.4 Beta 4 and watchOS 3.2 Beta 4 to registered developers as an over the air update.

New Updates to iOS 10.3, macOS 10.12.4 & watchOS 3.2 Beta Have Been Released

If you are a registered developer with Apple, then you will be pleased to learn that the Cupertino giant has updated its entire beta software lineup today. For those who are wondering – iOS 10.3, macOS 10.12.4 and watchOS 3.2 have received their fourth beta releases. In order to download them, you do not require a PC or Mac as they are available over the air. But, if you want, you can download  the restore images of iOS 10.3 and macOS 10.12.4 directly from the Apple Developer Program portal. This is the route to take if you are planning to install the beta software from scratch.

In order to download and install the latest iOS 10.3 Beta, simply follow the steps outlined below.

  • Connect to a WiFi network and launch Settings.
  • Navigate to General > Software Update.
  • As soon as the available software update pops up, tap on Download and Install.

macOS 10.12.4 users can download the update from the Mac App Store. Follow the steps below.

  • Save your work and launch the Mac App Store.
  • Click on the Updates tab.
  • As soon as any update becomes available, click on Update All or Update.
  • Restart your Mac when prompted.

watchOS 3.2 can be downloaded over the air as well, just follow the steps outlined beneath.

  • Place your Apple Watch on its magnetic charger.
  • Launch the Watch app on your iPhone.
  • Navigate to General > Software Update.
  • Install the available software update from here.

The update is going to take a while therefore don’t panic. Make sure your wearable is on its charger during the entire process.

All of the above mentioned updates come packed with bug fixes and performance related enhancements. It’s highly recommended that you go ahead and install them without any sort of hesitation. If you are holding back due to some other reason, then it’s entirely your call. Still, hop onboard the beta 4 train at the first moment you get.
