While the force was not strong with Star Wars Kinect it seems that the game series still has a chance of coming back into the spotlight with a new mystery game to be announced at this years E3 2012, so far the only hint about the game is Lucasarts has trademarked the name Star Wars 1313 but it is a striking resemblance to Boba Fett’s alias “CT – 1313″ in a novel titled “Boba Fett: Maze of Deception”. This could be a potential hint that the game is based on Boba Fett which is really possible considering Jango Fett was able to get his own game on the previous generation consoles titled “Star Wars: Bounty Hunter” which gave you a back story of how the bounty hunter went from being a lone wolf to a gun for hire for the empire.

Black Ops 2 may look like another quick job from Activision and Treyarch studios but this time it looks like they are actually serious about making an excellent Call of Duty game since the first Modern Warfare, judging by the appearance of all the fresh information it seems that fans will have quite a lot to look forward to, with the return of zombies, more action than ever before, jet combat and even CHOICES (That’s right, CHOICES) are bound to make this the next Modern Warfare for the current year of Gaming, I had hopes for this game being great and if this information is indeed true then it can truly exceed that potential.

Metro: 2033 was a graphical marvel on the PC which bought even the most strongest of PC’s down to their knees where even people with i7 980 / 990X would be struggling to run the game at full and not even reach 60 FPS even with the most powerful GPU on the market at the time, but now the horror is making a comeback but not before it comes out as a Live Action movie to help fans get excited for the actual game release. Lost Planet is one of modern day gaming’s most popular games, with the first two games being graphical marvels on the PC requiring nothing less of a powerhouse to run them at the highest frames in DX11 it comes to no surprise that Lost Planet 3 will look even better than the previous 2 games and it will come with some new changes such as Quick Time Events. While the series has never quite reached the popularity of other mainstream titles fans of the series are surely in for quite a ride.

While PS4 and XBOX 720 are hush topics by their respected makers it seems that a legal document being exchanged between Bungie (famous for the Halo Series) and Activision (Famous for the Call of Duty Series) It seems that both studios were passing around a legal document showing interests in potential projects for both future consoles, while no proper names were in the documents we know that a couple of games will launch in 2013 / 2014 for the future consoles, but could these be launch titles for the consoles or follow up titles?

So apparently Sony has something big lined up for E3 and unfortunately it is not a next generation console nor is it going to be a new Vita since its too soon to release one. According to a french site which directly quoted PSM3 it seems that Sony could be hinting at a “big surprise” for all of it’s fans, but what the surprise is still a mystery. I am keeping my fingers crossed for something related to a new Uncharted or possibly a new Metal Gear Solid game but anything can happen.

The Wii-U is Nintendo’s next big innovation in the world of console gaming, after stealing the show and sales from the PS3 and XBOX 360 in the past with the Wii and dominating the handheld market with the Nintendo DS series and then the 3DS Nintendo is looking to make a comeback this time around with something no console generation has done before. The Wii-U is another innovative idea which will make it so that console gamers won’t need a television to play video games any more and many other robust features are definitely making the console a must buy on a lot of shoppers wish list.

May 15th marked an important day for fans of Max Payne and Diablo, both games were wanted deeply by fans of the previous generation of gaming and when their respected developers met with the fans wishes everyone was happy, But someone decided to go under the surface of a Max Payne 3 disc and discover a file INSIDE the game disc which contained a list of cars that will be used in GTA 5, it seems that the source is definitely plausible and secret files hidden on discs have proven to be true on more than one occasion (Battlefront 3 was discovered on Operation Raccoon City disc right?)

The Last of Us was without a shadow of a doubt one of Naughty Dog’s biggest surprises of the year 2011, after the success of Uncharted 3 the developers revealed a project that they have been working on for a long time now and most of their man power was dedicated to this game even when Uncharted 3 was under development. The Last of Us is a story of a man and a girl who forge an alliance to help keep each other alive, Ellie (the girl) and Joel (The aged man) are both survivors of an epidemic which has taken the city by storm, in a world of dog eat dog its only fair that they should watch their backs more carefully.
