Medal of Honor took a serious time-era turn, when it went straight from the casual, and boring WWII to a much more present time, somewhere in the 20th Century. The game as always, is a 1st-person shooter and is developed by Danger Close, a division within the huge EA Los Angeles, and DICE. The game set its appearance on the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 on October 12, 2010.

News has come in from Silicon Valley from the motion-sensing tech makers, Canesta, that they are being acquired by Microsoft with the sale being finalized by the end of 2010. Canesta makes 3D sensing technology, not like the technology embedded in Kinect, which launches next week.
However, it is possible that Microsoft bought the company since Canesta also works for 3D tracking data, which is exactly where the deal bears fruits especially for evolution of Kinect’s software and hardware. It may also be alleged that Microsoft acquired the company in such a quick move, so as to not offend or infringe any of Canesta patent, and to avoid a lawsuit later on, as Kinect prepares to launch next week.

News has just come in from around the Web, that Engadget have actually got their hands on the new PlayStation Phone, and from the looks and likes of it, it is the REAL deal indeed!. Now according to Engadget, who got hold of this, the phone will start shipping in the market soon, with Android 3.0 (aka Gingerbread), along with a Custom Sony Marketplace, made just for the phone; from where you can download all sorts of stuff for the phone.
The device holsters a 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8655 processor, 512MB of RAM, 1GB of ROM and a screen that is around 3.7 – 4.1” according to Engadget. The device also has a multitouch in the center as was predicted by a mockup made earlier this summer.
This particular device is rather a prototype of the real thing, and is said to be very buggy and not very finished. Also can be seen from the picture is that the phone does not have a skin as of yet, and looks rather blank!. While the release date is said to be 2010, there are much more actual possibilities of it extending into 2011 instead.
More information to come soon, keep in touch!

Yesterday, news came in directly from Nokia that the ship date for the Nokia N8 was being pushed back to October due to the production issues and all. However, Nokia has now confirmed that the production of not all – but some – Nokia N8 devices will be pushed back to October. There are Nokia N8 units that will make a launch in the month of September.
This is the official statement made by Nokia, sometime today:
There have been a few stories this morning about the N8 availability which we feel need clarification. As we have previously said, we still expect to start the shipments by the end of the third quarter. As with every global launch, when the device reaches the hand of the customer will vary by market and operator.
We have received a record number of online pre-orders for the Nokia N8. We had targeted our online pre-order customers to receive their N8s by the end of September. As it can take time from the beginning of shipment to arriving at their doorstep, in full transparency, we have advised our pre-order customers that they should expect their new Nokia N8 in October.
Well, now all you people have to do, is to wait and see if your region and carrier will be short-listed in the companies that will make a launch of the Nokia N8 in September. For this, we still have to wait, some more days I guess.
Just to remind you people, the Nokia N8 is a Symbian^3 smartphone, utilizing a 12-megapixel camera with a 3.5” capacitive, multi-touch AMOLED-display. The Nokia N8 also gives abode to a 680MHz processor, and a 3D graphic HW Accelerator with Open-GL support. The price is said to be: €370 ($549 ; £320).

The people over at Digitimes have been reported as saying that HTC is indeed in-works of developing a tablet with the upcoming Android 3.0 OS. The launch date of this new tablet is said to be somewhere in the first quarter of the next year, that is 2011. The fact that Digitimes have sometimes been wrong, make this news just a rumor as for now.
However, using some common sense, this news could be possible try as Motorola is already developing their own tablet for the upcoming Android OS 3.0, due on Verizon somewhere around February.
I wonder if the tablet will be 7” or 10”. If it is 7” then surely it will be in competition with the Samsung Galaxy Tablet, the upcoming Apple iPad (7”) and the Dell Streak. As for now, Samsung and Dell continue to dominate their own markets and continue to compete with the iPad. The fact that the tablets cannot run Froyo (Android 2.2) very smoothly makes the tablets something not considerable as of this moment. However, Android 3.0 tablets will definitely change the scenario altogether.

No one was hurt during the making of the game should be the tag line of this game, and why you ask?! That’s because this game is one of the first in its kind to be portrayed through the lens. It is one the first games to have been inspired by documentary films ad user generated content, and is shown in much as the same way.
Kane and Lynch 2 is the sequel to the well acclaimed game with the same name: Kane and Lynch: Dead Men. The game was developed by IO Interactive and published by Eidos Interactive under Square Enix, on the Xbox 360, PC and Playstation 3. Our game was reviewed on PC.
Unlike the first game, the player assumes the control of Lynch, in Dog Days and not Kane like in the first game.
Details have already confirmed the fact, that the full QWERTY, horizontal slider, C900 will be LG’s first ever Windows 7 operated phone.
However, a recent video on YouTube shows that a very similar handset to the C900, although dubbed the E900, is an exact copy of the phone, except that the phone has a full touch screen. Thanks to Mr.BlurryCam (who linked the video over @ BGR), YouTube has a E900 walkthrough of about 6 minutes.
To know the precise and official details, we will have to wait for the launch or at least for its details to surface!. Till then, watch this video walkthrough and let us know what you think, especially of its hardware.

According to Bloomberg, RIM’s tablet dubbed: Blackpad will be running an operating system developed by QNX, which was acquired by Research in Motion back in April. Bloomberg quotes anonymous sources and dates the launch of the Blackpad to be somewhere in November.
The Blackpad is said to be somewhat near a Blackberry device, with Wi-Fi capabilities and with the ability to integrate with Blackberry mobile devices.
So, it seems plans for the Blackpad came back in April, when RIM acquired QNX, since they needed someone to develop their OS. If the plans did date back till then, then we sure do expect something good from RIM, who have never disappointed anyone in their handsets (except the new Torch).

Well this news is basically for all you people out there who own a Nexus One – and also want to hack it up a bit. Well, if you are a loyal follower of Cyanogen, then you will already know that the third candidate the CM6 ROM has been released, brining much more and better Froyo Roms to the N1.
As always, to be on the safe side – backup all your data, applications, contacts, music, images, and all the God knows data you have in your Nexus One. Then download Cyanogen and get hacking!.
