ASUS Unleashes the Radeon HD7950 DirectCU II GPU, Reference Model also Launched

Leading Hardware Manufacture ASUS has announced the availability of its new Radeon HD7950 Graphic Cards which include the Reference Variant along with two Custom Model featuring the manufacture’s award winning DirectCU II Heatsink.

The Cost Effective Reference design features stock clocks of 800Mhz Core and 1250Mhz (5Ghz Effective) 3GB GDDR5 (384-bit) Memory. Featuring the reference heatsink design, The ASUS Radeon HD7950 is available at a price of $449 and is ideal for gamers looking for an upgrade to their HD6900 Series Graphic Cards.

Other than the Reference Model, ASUS has also prepared two HD7950 which are equipped with the badass three slot thick DirectCU II Heatsink which includes a larger aluminium heatsink block equipped with copper heatpipes and 2 fans for enthusiast level cooling and overclocking capabilities.

One of the models, The HD7950-DC2-3GD5 is clocked at the reference clock speeds of 800Mhz Core and 1250Mhz Memory while the HD7950-DC2T-3GD5 comes at overclocked frequencies of 900Mhz Core and 1250Mhz Memory. All three cards include 2 Mini Display Ports and a Single HDMI and DVI display outputs. Power is provided through two 6 Pin Connectors.
