Every week on Thursday, Apple updates its free App of the Week promotion with a new app or game offered for free. This week, the company is giving away Hyperburner, a hit arcade racing title. This means that for the next seven days, you will be able to get your hands on the popular racing game with absolutely no charge. Hyperburner is a fast pace space flier situated in the distant solar system. Let’s dive in to see some more details on Apple’s free App of the Week and see what more does the game has to offer.

Hyperburner Is Apple’s Free App Of The Week

Normally, Hyperburner is priced at $3, so if you are willing to save some extra bucks, be sure to download it through the App Store this week. As we have mentioned earlier, the title is a high speed space racer that takes you into the distant solar system. Players are advised to lead their ships through the immensely dangerous courses and make highscores.

The App Store Editors’ Notes:

There sure is a lot of debris in space. So if you want to survive as an intergalactic pilot, you’ll need to think fast. Thankfully, dodging and weaving through Hyperburner’s gorgeous levels is pure exhilaration. We love how beating stages “rewards” us with faster ships—it means the better we get, the harder the game gets.

As you move ahead in the game, you will unlock endless-mode leaderboards. The game is oriented towards mobile devices and you have the option to play it in both landscape or portrait mode. Apart from this, the responsive free steering enhances the overall gameplay experience. You have six zones to master, each of whom comes with five challenging stages.

Visually, Hyperburner is pretty stunning as the courses are detailed extensively. The overall experience is highly immersive as you watch the empty space with hurdles and blockages pass with lightning speed. The audio of the game is futuristic yet provides a hooking experience. The game is available for both iPhone and iPad, so do take advantage of it. Since the game is available for free only for a limited time, do install it as soon as you can. If you don’t, the app would return to its original pricing model.
