The promotion of the Apple Watch as not only a gadget was evident at the company’s September 9th event, where  several fashion editors and bloggers had been invited by Apple.

For the Apple Watch in Paris, Apple seems to have joined forces with a Parisian boutique ‘Collete’ to show off the Apple Watch for the first time. According to CEO Tim Cook who spoke at the device’s launch event, the company has paid a lot of attention towards the Apple Watch’s development.

The main navigation tool on the Apple Watch will be it’s digital crown which will control the navigation and operation of the device. The Apple Watch will also be capable of haptic feedback and monitoring the daily health activity of it’s user, courtesy of four sensors present on it’s back.

This follows suit with the company only allowing journalists to try the device out on their wrists and not be able to interact with the device earlier.
