Video Uploaded By Developer Shows The Smartwatch Turning Lights On/Off Sinply Through Voice Commands.
Android Wear devices have already started shipping to developers. This gives them a chance to better understand the devices and design apps suited to their functionality. Developer Doug Gregory has uploaded a video which shows one of the features of the device. The video shows how the voice command control feature on the device works. In the video, Doug is seen giving voice commands to his android wear devices. The commands include those related to lights in his living room and even his garage door. As soon as Doug gives the command to the device to turn the lights or a lamp on, the lights follow suit. Of course, response of the command is delayed, but this can be attributed to the app being in its initial, testing phase. It also shows photos which can be set to ‘on’ or ‘off’. The name of the home automation software shown in the video is AutoVera and AutoVoice is the app which lets you enter voice commands in the device. Enjoy.
