We already saw a rumor hinting that HTC is planning to release the popular Nexus 9 tablet mid-October. The rumors wasn’t backed up with any other source, until now. New sources claim that HTC is indeed preparing to launch its Nvidia Tegra K1 powered tablet in mid-October hinting at both the October 15th and 16th as the possible dates of launch.htc Nexus 9 launch android

Multiple Android launches in Oct/Nov:

The 9-inch HTC Nexus 9 tablet is not the only one coming mid-October. We are hearing that Motorola is also gearing to launch a couple of its new devices including a Motorola Nexus 6 (also known as Moto Nexus) smartphone. This would be the first Nexus coming under the tag of Motorola. This latest information about Android devices launches come through Android Authority who claim to be “rather confident of the validity of the information disclosed.”

Apart from the two Nexus devices from HTC and Motorola, the next generation Android OS is also expected to be seen somewhere during the same time frame, officially launching on Novermber 1st.

While Android L and new Nexus hardware will be shown off in mid-October, the final version of Android L won’t officially be available until November 1st, according to our sources. Keep in mind it’s unclear whether that’s when the latest Nexus hardware with Android L will be sold (or shipped?), when existing Nexus devices will get the update, or both. Either way, the wait for Android L and the next generation of the Nexus family appears to almost be over!

This information actually got backed up through another related but separate rumor which claimed that Samsung will release the Samsung Galaxy S5 and Galaxy Note 4 to the latest Android 5.0 in November. As the latest rumors suggest, Samsung is ready to quickly follow the official launch of new mobile OS with updating its own flagship devices.
