Android 2.1 FOTA 1.15.405.4 upgrade for HTC Hero delayed

HTC Hero users will have to wait for their upgrade to Android 2.1, which was rumored to be launched on 4th July, now has been reported that European users will start getting the waited upgrade on 16th April. The Nordic/Greek/RUS/UKR/SA ROMs will be first to receive the upgrade, followed other versions.

On the contrary, HTC Desire has not reached all markets yet, but it has got it’s first software upgrade: 1.15.405.4 Desire software as an over-the-air (FOTA) update. The upgrade is for improving user experience, although a changelog has not been revealed by HTC, and Desire users would receive the notification shortly.
