AMD’s Lower End HD 6000 Series Cards to Launch on April 19th.

AMD has revealed the launch date of its lower end HD 6000 series based graphic card. The cards, AMD Radeon HD 6450,HD 6570,HD 6670 will be launched simultaneously on April 19th. All three cards will feature a Non-Reference design and would comes with DVI, HDMi connectors while some will be equipped with a VGA port.

The HD 6450 is based on the Caicoss Core and would be passively cooled. AMD Radeon 6570 will be based on Turks pro core, Features a slimmer PCB and cooled by Heatsink fan while the AMD Radeon HD 6670 is based on the Turks XT Core. Following are the specifications of each card:

  • 8 Texture units
  • 4 ROPs
  • GDDR5(128 bit)/DDR3(64 bit) memory interface

AMD Radeon HD 6570 Specification

  • 480 Stream Processor
  • 24 Texture units
  • 8 ROPs
  • 128-bit DDR3/GDDR5 memory interface
