AMD’s Richland APU prices have been leaked along with the release date by Chiploco. According to the details, AMD would release their complete Richland APU lineup on 4th June 2013 and would bring a new and improved Piledriver core architecture along with Radeon HD 8000 graphics core.

AMD Richland APU Prices Leaked – Launch Confirmed On 4th June

AMD Richland APUs would be the company’s third generation of accelerated processing units fused with a refined version of the current x86 Piledriver architecture. Richland would be using upto four Piledriver modules with enhanced clock speeds aimed to deliver much better performance without increasing the power consumption.

AMD Richland APUs would be available in both 65W and 100W models, would also feature AMD’s HD 8000 integrated graphic processors based on the VLIW4 core. The APUs would come with native support for DDR3-2133 MHz memory and would aim to deliver 20 – 40% average GPU performance increase over Trinity through faster clock speeds as seen through the benchmarks exposed here. The AMD Richland APU lineup can be seen listed below along with their respective prices :

Starting from April 18th, AMD would also bundle their A-Series APUs with SimCity which was released by Maxis last month. Only a select amount of AMD A-Series APUs would get the new promotion which include both Trinity and the upcoming Richland A-Series.

Not long after Richland is released, AMD would launch yet another APU platform codenamed AMD Kaveri which would be based on an entirely and AMD’s first 28nm architecture Steamroller and being the first APU to ship with AMD’s GCN core architecture. Kaveri would be an amazing APU when launched in Q4 2013, it is also expected to bring GDDR5/DDR4 memory to the PC market, more on which can be learned here.
