Two new videos uploaded on YouTube show a live demonstration of an engineering sample of the Bulldozer FX-8130P Processor running at Stock and Overclocked settings. The FX-8130P chip used here is part of the older B0 revision as seen from the AIDA64 CPU ID menu and also an engineering sample.
The FX-8130P we reported earlier to be a 3.8Ghz Stock chip with Turbo Core upto 4.2Ghz but the default clocks shown in the video are much lower, The CPU is clocked at 3.2Ghz(201 x 16.0) @ 1.44V with a max TDP rating of 186W, 8 Cores/8 Threads and 8MB of L3 Cache. The user also ran on overclocked settings of 4.12Ghz(1.44V) with the memory clocked at 2400mhz at CL7 timings.
The benchmarks used were Super Pi (1M) and AID64 benchmark. At default settings, The CPU scored 27.409 sec in Super Pi (1m) and 14506MB (Read)/9072MB (Write)/ 17489 (Copy) in AID64. With overclocked frequencies AID64 reported a score of 17633MB (Read)/11540MB (Write)/ 16899 (Copy). The Super Pi run was followed with an error due to which the overclocked score wasn’t posted.
