The listing was spotted by known industry-insider Shinobi602. Unfortunately, the release date was only mentioned briefly as Amazon quickly changed the release date to January 1st, 2036. We weren’t able to find a cached version of the listing.

The release date for the Blood and Wine expansion remains a mystery, and more than one possible release date is circulating around the web. We recently reported that notable Polish gaming site, GRYOnline, had listed the Blood and Wine DLC with a global release on June 7th. Following our article however, we were contacted by the site’s editor who stated that this date was merely a “placeholder date”. As always, we’ll keep you updated when we learn more about the expansion’s release date.

Yesterday, the box art for the Blood and Wine expansion was leaked, and following the ‘leak’, developer CD Projekt Red released the official art for the upcoming Witcher 3 DLC.

The Blood and Wine expansion will feature a 20-hour story, and will include a new region, new characters, and a new plot. Additionally, the DLC will include a completely new soundtrack, written from scratch.
