Amazon has been one of the finest e-commerce companies in the world. It has launched many services and has had many partner programs since its launch in the 1990s. Amazon’s same day delivery service Prime Now has been experimenting with something that is outside its usual business. The service, which is available in a couple of dozen U.S metropolises has partnered up with Hyundai in a bid to let customers test drive cars. The customers will be able to order test drives of Hyundai’s latest Elantra 2017 model, right off of Amazon’s website.

Hyundai and Amazon partner up for test drive experience

The program is called “Prime Now. Drive Now.” Just to be clear, you won’t we be able to actually order a car from Amazon, this service is just basically for customers who are willing to test drive the car in advance. The hassle of going to a dealership and then getting a test drive after ages of waiting will be eliminated. The customers of Prime Now will just go online and select a time between 9AM to 7PM for a 45-60 minutes test drive.

The idea is great but there are some limitations. Firstly, the program will run only for two weekends, one of which has just passed and the second one is coming up (August 27th and 28th). Secondly, it will only be available in LA and Orange County and the only car available is the Hyundai Elantra.

If you are looking to buy Hyundai’s latest then this might be the best opportunity. You can order the test drive at work, home or practically anywhere you want. The car will come with a trained expert who will make sure there are no unanswered questions left about the car and the expert will also help you in case you make up your mind about buying the car, by locating the nearest dealer in your area. This is a great overall opportunity if you want to get away from the annoying car dealerships and are looking to buy a new Hyundai car.

This is all a part of a marketing stunt done by Hyundai’s marketing team and they involved Amazon for ease. Do try this out and share with us your experience in the comments below.
